At one point the eight track arrival yard that once stood here could help to process 1300 cars a day over the hump into Tilford’s 40 track classification bowl. Today the hump yard is gone as are the eight arrival tracks, all victims of the Precision Scheduled Railroading craze sweeping the industry.
