Remarks & Notes |
The electric shunter Ee 3/3 # 16383 is the oldest operational locomotive of the SBB in regular service, built in 1943 by SLM, BBC and SAAS (The RAe 4/8 # 1021 "Churchill-Pfeil" is some years older). It is used in Chur to shunt passenger cars, which were added to push-pull trains between Zürich and Chur and vice versa. The locomotive with rod drive has about 500 kW and a maximum velocity of 50 km/h. |
