Two patched SD60s wait for another coal train to shove over the north end of the Kanawha River Railroad. While the line usually only gets a few coal trains a month, it's always nice to see these EMDs primed and ready for the next one.
The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
