Garibaldi after hours. With the day's operations and post-arrival servicing complete, Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad power sits parked outside the engine house, bedded down for the night. On the left is Polson Logging Company Mikado #2, a beefy 1912 Baldwin Product, which is privately owned by Skip Lichter and loaned to the railroad for special events. On this particular day, the loco had been hauling a photo freight for a Trains Magazine Charter. On the right is Great Northern Railway F7 #274, a 1950 EMD product, which first served the Great Northern Railway, followed by the Burlington Northern, Seattle & North Coast, and Lewis & Clark in a nearly 70 year career. On this particular day she was serving as the OCSR's Yard Goat and on the following day, she was used to rescue Columbia River Belt Line Railway #7 "Skookum", after she broke her 3rd eccentric rod.
