Conrail MI-21 works Gerresheimer on the extreme north end of Vineland Running Track. This is truly the end of the line, with the end of active track marked by a pair of ties covering the rails. This line was once the Southern Division of the Central Railroad of New Jersey. The Southern Division extended from Red Bank to Bridgeton, NJ with a distance of just under 100 miles. Today only a few disconnected segments of the line are still in service, operated by three railroads: Conrail Shared Assets, Winchester & Western and the Southern RR of NJ.
