SEPTA's Delaware Valley University Station. This station is Located in Doylestown, PA within Delaware Valley University itself, at the edge of "Student Parking Lot A", and primarily serves the students of the University. This stop is often referred to as "Del Val". Interestingly, and unknown to many, is that this was the location of a Reading Company stop named "Farm School" which saw service by the Reading Company until the 1960s. "Farm School" reflected the college's original name of National Farm School. The station was called Delaware Valley College station until the university changed its name in 2015.
This stop reminded me of another former Reading station stop that was located within a school named "George School" in Newtown, PA. That station, and even the line itself is long gone though its footprints remain and can be seen in a photo here. The Reading - now SEPTA, also serves other schools, such as Temple University in Philadelphia.
