Remarks & Notes
Beamish museum held it annual steam fair last weekend and was rather low key compared to previous years. 2 guest engines came from the Ravenglas sand Eskdale railway which neccesitated building a 15 inch track for these locomotives to traverse. Here Katie is at the end of the short line that was built inside a standard gauge track. Something which was commonplace where narrow gauge met Standard gauge. Behind the locomotive is a newly built shed to house the 200 year old Chaldron wagons and above a traction engine transports visitors around the site.
