After dumping ballast along the line, KN92 took Armitage Siding to meet northbound manifest KN381, the first time Armitage held a train in several years. After 381 cleared, and with light getting slim, the ex-NS SD60 revs up and heads south long-hood forward.
The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
