| 2-8-2 four cylinder express train steamlocomotive 19 # 017 (Sächsische XX HV, called "Sachsenstolz" / "Pride of Saxonia"), built in 1922 by Sächsische Maschinenfabrik Chemnitz for the Königlich Sächsische Staatseisenbahnverwaltung. Withdrawn in 1971 and now part of Verkehrsmuseum Dresden in the roundhouse of Dresden Altstadt. The locomotive will be shunted to the exhibition place during the 11th steamlocomotive gathering Dresden. In the background are the green diesellocomotive 102 # 004 "Regina 16" of the ITL from Pirna, the steamlocomotive 91 # 134 of the Leipziger Dampf KulTour from 1898 and the not operational 89 # 6009 of DB Museum Nürnberg, on long term loan to the IG Bw Dresden Altstadt. |
