A sure sign of Spring as CRC 5704 and the Cincinnati Dinner Train pass the International Friendship Park just east of downtown Cincinnati. 5704 was beautifully restored in 2018 to her as-delivered C&O colors. She usually operates on the Lebanon, Mason, & Monroe Railroad but has been filling in on the Dinner Train the past few weeks. This GP7 is the oldest, continually operating “GEEP” in the country. It was built in 1950, the same year as famed steam locomotive N&W 611. For tickets or information about the Cincinnati Dinner Train, visit their website: http://www.cincinnatirailway.com/dinnertrain/
