Remarks & Notes
Scarlet & Grey Returns to the Coast Line. UP 1011 and a GP40-2 set to work this afternoon switching the small, central-coast yard that's main purpose these days is serving as an interchange point with the Santa Maria Valley Railroad. Once of twice a week, the LOL30 makes a run down to the White Hills Branch the breaks away from the Santa Barbara Subdivision at Surf. Today, however, finds the local staying inside the Guadalupe yard's limits as they building the outbound Santa Maria Valley Railroad's train that will be picked up within the next few hours.
