An Amtrak Acela Express, led by AMTK No. 2031, races west through Bensalem, Pennsylvania backlit against the glow of a rising Winter Sun. The train is en route to Philadelphia and is just shy of Cornwells Heights station, a location which had, in the past, always been my "goto" sunset hangout.
Landscape photography is difficult due to the challenge of combining good light and good scenery. Good railroad photography enters another level of complexity since it requires the first two while there is a train in view.
