It did not take long to re-number GN 590 to BN 6117. Only about 3 months after the merger the unit is waiting at Brook Park, MN on the Brook Park turn out of St. Cloud, MN for its interchange of traffic with freights to/from Superior, WI. Once connected, the crew will head back doing local switching as needed along the way. This unit was set up for long hood forward operation as noted by the horns and the control dials reflecting in the door window.
