Remarks & Notes |
The daily freight bound for Russell is winding along the Levisa Fork River about 5 miles north of Paintsville. The train is just thru Thelma and is working between SK Cabin and GC Cabin. This is ex-C&O country, and there is alot of cool old signals still left! Here is about the only double tracked ex-C&O signal bridges on this route. 692 is running pretty late to be a morning train on the north end of the Big Sandy. The 692 has just met a Brice coal train here at Thelma, unfortunately the DP power is just out of view. |
