Remarks & Notes
“No Coke, Pepsi ” On a muggy July evening before the Independence Day holiday, Conrail U23Bs 2702 and 2768 haul a ballast train west on the Port Road, approaching Minnick (mp 2.0). At least one crewmember seems to prefer Pepsi to Coke. The (former) interlocking at Minnick provided access to the PRR-era Perryville Yard. CR 2702 is ex-PC 2702 (#38508), built 08/1972. CR 2768 is ex-PC 2768 (#39323), built 09/1973.
