A westbound power move breaks the evening silence as it lights up the Chicago & Northwestern Searchlights in the town of Cortland, Illinois on Union Pacific's Geneva Subdivision. This location, about 55 miles west of downtown Chicago is one of a handful of control points on the Geneva Sub to retain C&NW signal hardware.
