| Newly rebuilt MBTA 1050 (F40PH-3C) is tied onto the rear of a string of MassDOT ballast hoppers and MBTA 011 and 2020 as it disappears out of sight in Middleboro. This is the MBTA Middleboro Extra, and it has just finished it's work in Middleboro and is on it's way back to Boston. 1050 is the second locomotive to arrive back on the property after an extensive rebuild by MPI in Boise, Idaho. |
