As Newton's First Law of Motion is taking affect, the Trio of CSX motors on the head of the 98 car empty Stilesboro coal bucket CSX N302-22 (Stilesboro,GA-Madisonville,KY) is in full dynamic as the train comes around the curve making the descend down 2% grade of the Cumberland Mountain (MP J-88.6 Cowan). We're less than a half of a miles from the summit of the Cumberland Mountain, and also the north-end portal of the Cumberland Mountain Tunnel. The Cumberland Mountain is the intense grade here on the CSX Chattanooga Sub where freight traffic that are at mountain tonnage will require pusher on the rear end to get a tonnage over the Mountain. With the train empty, and enough horse power to get the unit train over the hill, N302 on this particular day didn't have any issue making the running head start from Sherwood, TN without the pusher to the crest of the grade on the south-end of the portal of the Cumberland Mountain.
