| Double Gotthard locomotive Ae 8/14 # 11801 of SBB Historic Team Erstfeld, built in 1931 by SLM and BBC with Buchli drive, is pulling a charter train for Sutter Bahnreisen/Märklin Club over the Gotthard mountain line from Erstfeld to Bodio and back. The train had two cars only, the red dining car WR # 614 (50 85 8833 614-1) and the first class/parlor car of type standard II SR # 610 (50 85 8933 610-8). The train is on the return journey and leaving Airolo on the south portal of the 15 kilometer long Gotthard tunnel. The locomotive has 5514 kW, weight is 240 metric ton and the maximum velocity is 100 km/h. |
