Remarks & Notes |
The Vanishing Guage on Indian Railways. The once ubiquitous metre gauge is now a few 100 kilometres across the entire network. Here a Akola bound passenger approaches the Narmada river bridge just north of the town of Omkareshwar. The service currently is now curtailed between Mhow and Sanawad with the Gauge conversion in progress. Such trains and sights sadly now will remain a part of the Rail lover memory and present in the form of a few videos and photographs. |
