CSX CW44AC 420 idles at Social Circle, Georgia early on Memorial Day morning. The depot and coal tower which served the Georgia Railroad still proudly stand overlooking the modern era of class one railroading, the depot is still used by CSX crews, Signal Department and Roadway crews. As I was standing herw shooting this scene I wondered how many of our boys left on the train during the entry into WWll, how many never returned home.
