Some of EMD's GP30's changed owners, not long after the paint dried from their previous owner. Paducah & Louisville #2259 changed owners twice, before it landed on the P&L. Originally a GM&O unit, it went to Illinois Central Gulf before wearing the P&L paint scheme.
