Remarks & Notes |
A quintet of MLW six axle power basks in breaking clouds after a late spring shower in the company of a pair of GMD SD40-2s. The location is the engine facility area of CP Rail's Pt. Coquitlam Yard east of Vancouver, BC. It was still common to see MLWs mixed with GMDs all in the "candy cane" stripes in 1975 and 76. Soon the stripes would be simplified and removed from cab faces, and the MLWs would stay east of the Rockies. |
