Vermont Rail System's Saturday slurry (and salt) train 263-08 required a 6-unit consist to move 63-cars and 8,190 tons up the nearly 2% grade from Rutland to the summit of the Green Mountains at Mt. Holly on June 8. The train is seen at the eastern end of its run as it arrives at Riverside Yard in Bellows Falls with an all-VRS family consist that includes VTR GP40-2 307, GP40-2L 310, VTR GP38-2 202 (Washington County paint), CLP GP40-2 306, VTR GP40-2 308 and CLP GP38-2 204.
