Remarks & Notes |
2 Green Line services cross paths making the turn at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Brighton Avenue, also known as Packard's Corner. The intersection is named such because it was the location of a Packard automobile dealership, back in the days of the Type 5 and PCC cars. It also was the location where the A Line to Watertown branched away down Brighton Avenue to the left. While neither still remain today, modern day light rail vehicles still ply the rails down Comm Ave, to and from Boston College. |
