| NS 7278 (ex-UP SD90/43MAC No. 8050) brings train 123 over the 161 year old McLin Creek Viaduct. Built in 1858 by the Western North Carolina Rail Road, it is amazing to think how well constructed this bridge is to handle the massive weight of the modern locomotives and rail cars that were unimaginable back in the day. |
