Remarks & Notes
A renumbered but not yet repainted ex-New Haven EP-5 electric swings through Milford, CT, with a Penn Central train that is probably a New Haven-Grand Central Terminal local. The EP-5s (PC class E-40) were favored for these multi-stop runs because they could accelerate much faster than FL9s.

Conrail, Erie Lackawanna, New Haven, New York Central and Penn Central ran exotic equipment - but very road worn and run down.
