The RJ Corman "My Old Kentucky Dinner Train passes the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont. The original Beam distillery, called Old Tub was founded in 1795 by Jacob Beam. His whiskey was called "Old Jake Beam Sour Mash." Jim Beam Corporation in its current state was founded in 1935 by Harry L. Homel, Oliver Jacobson, Harry Blum, and Jeremiah Beam. The Clermont distillery was built in 1933 after the abolition of prohibition, in anticipation of the new brand. The FP7 locomotives that RJ Corman uses to pull their dinner train have a rich history as well, being built by EMD for the Southern Railway. The only disappointment here was the open door. Although it takes away from the photo, one can't blame the engineer as temperatures were close to 100 degrees this day.
