The nostalgic, timetabled Zügen gorge train 1815 from Davos Platz to Filisur is crossing the 89 meter high and 210 meter long Wiesen viaduct, the highest on the Rhaetian Railway network and the second highest railway viaduct of Switzerland. This impressive viaduct with a parabolic bow of 55 meter main span, crossing the Landwasser river, was built between 1906 and 1908 mainly with concrete blocks and faced with granite and gneiss stones. The "Rhaetian Crocodile" or "C-C" (according the axle configuration) Ge 6/6 I # 415 from 1929 is pulling the following cars: First class A # 1102 from 1903, second class B # 2247 from 1932, 2 yellow open observation cars "carrozza panoramica"/"Aussichtswagen" B # 20../#21.., second class B # 2246 (with new paint) from 1932, second class B # 2245 from 1928, covered freight cars/baggage cars D2 # 4080 and # 4079 for bycicles, buggies etc. This train is circulating twice a day in both directions during the summer, with slightly changed times, replacing a timetabled train with modern vehicles. The Landwasser creek has a very strange color this day, brown-yellow. In the background is the village Wiesen, about 250 meter higher then the railway station Davos Wiesen, which is just on the right of the viaduct.
