| South Shore Line freight motors 2005 & 2007 lead their train north to Michigan City on an old Nickel Plate Road branch line. The train is crossing the Norfolk Southern Chicago Line near milepost 462, just east of downtown La Porte, and is returning to MC after doing work in the Kingsbury and Stillwell area. Not sure, but I believe this job currently runs only about one or two days a week. Photo by Jeff Stupar. |
