Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Chicago operates a 570-acre plant that removes biosolids from the city's waste water. This facility, in the Chicago suburb of Stickney, is large enough to need its own railroad, complete with four locomotives. On September 27, 2018, CSDX MP15DC 3 and CSDX SW1 1 move through the facility. Photographed on government property with permission and full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
