Remarks & Notes |
The shell of former Commonwealth Railways NG loco NSU63 resides next to the Stuart Highway at Adelaide River, Northern Territory, 113 km south of Darwin. Behind the loco can be seen the Adelaide River Station building which served the narrow gauge North Australia Railway, which ran from Darwin south to Larrimah until 1976. This building is now part of the Adelaide River Railway and Telegraph Museum. Between the NSU and museum is the new (2005) SG line to Darwin. |
