Rocketing to Rupert on VIA #5. Taken from the 'Park' car on the 'Skeena', travelling on the Grand Trunk Pacific line through the Rocky Mountains near Dunster, BC. This photo is from a trip my wife & I took out west on VIA Rail’s ‘Skeena’ & ‘Canadian’ – taking the ‘Canadian’ from Toronto to Edmonton stopping over in Alberta to explore the Rockies and various preserved railway equipment by rental car before taking VIA Rail’s ‘Skeena’ from Jasper through the Rockies to Prince Rupert then boarding the ferry to Port Hardy to visit Vancouver Island & various preserved equipment there.
