On a clear summer night, Yellowstone #225 sits in Proctor, greeting visitors taking Highway 2 into Proctor. These beasts were once the main power for ore trains along the line. Now EMDs and GEs handle the trains while 225 sits motionless, and hasn't ran in well over 50 years.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
