| I cannot locate any history on this caboose or as to why/how it got on static display just a mere 40 yards away from Southern's Manassas to Harrisonburg main line near the town of Edinburg, VA. Even though this portion of the caboose is under shelter, time and weather has taken a toll. The caboose is open free of charge to roam inside and around the outside there is a covered deck and seating area to just sit back and dream of days gone by. Internet search yielded that it was built in 1971. |
