Historic Power. To the right is the Museum's GE 50-Ton Switcher, which transports visitors around the property. According to the Museum website, the unit was built in 1948 for the Anglo-Canadian Paper Company, then later served as the Hudson Bay Mining 101. To the left is an SD45-2, originally built for the Seaboard Coast Line in August 1974. According to the website, it is one of 136 SD45-2s built by EMD. It was donated by CSX in August 2018. Based on what I was told during my visit, the prime mover has been somewhat temperamental in its performance, but the volunteers successfully started it and had it running while I was there. In the middle is the Southern N.O.& N.E. Pullman Heavyweight Baggage Car.
