| TVRM's newest acquisition is set up, and ready to be shown at the 1st Annual TVRM's Founders Days. TVRM 7100 an ex: US-Army Alco S2 which has strong tides with the area. The locomotive was at one time assigned to work the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant (VAAP) which operated as a TNT Manufacturing Facility until the highly secured location was inactive and was decommission by the United States Army Corps of Engineers in the 1990s. Isn't funny how life comes in full circle, and the only locomotive to my acknowledge is back home in Chattanooga. |
