Random encounter of Germany's prestige railway vehicles from a period of about 100 years. The new ICE4 of Deutsche Bahn, in regular service since this year, travels through Göppingen towards Stuttgart, while on the left the famous express steam locomotive S 3/6 # 3673, pride of the Bavarian State Railway of 1918, today called 18 # 478, stands with its train. Today the steam locomotive is at home at the BEM (Bayerisches Eisenbahn Museum) in Nördlingen and came to Göppingen for a visit on the occasion of the 12th Märklin Days and the International Model Railway Exhibition (IMA).
