Remarks & Notes
The route from Edinburgh to Aberdeen is full of wonderful ocean views, bridges and viaducts. The brick arch viaduct at Montrose is far from the most famous on the route but is none the less an imposing structure. Colas Rail's 70817 is pictured crossing the structure with the weekly working of China Clay 'silver bullets' from Workington Docks to Aberdeen Craiginches.
