Remarks & Notes |
On the second and longest run of the day, Green Mountain Rail Company 405, a 1951 ALCO RS-1 originally built for the Rutland Railroad leads a train out of Cavendish Gulf. The train will run to Ludlow, switch ends and return to Chester. The 405 has been running the rails in Vermont since it was built and is the only one of its class remaining active in the state.
