Remarks & Notes |
Train 1633 from St.Moritz to Tirano stopped in Alp Grüm station on 2091 meter a.s.l. Pulling the 7 cars train are the railcars ABe 4/4 # 53 "Tirano" and # 56 "Corviglia" (in the REPower publicity paint scheme) in multiple traction, with about 2030 kW power together. After departure, the train will make a 180 degree turn through the "panorama curve" and run from right to the left on the track in 7.0 % downgrade visible between the trees. The large stone station building of Alp Grüm with restaurant and hotel dates from 1923 (architect Nicolaus Hartmann) and was renovated in 2013, the Bernina line was opened in 1910. |
