UP 4014, The Big Boy , leads The Great Race Across the Southwest passenger special over Sherman Hill, WY and into the college town of Laramie. This is the first day of a two month tour for the Big Boy and its crew as it will visit its former resting place of Los Angeles, CA. After there, it'll make its way east through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, and finally back home to Wyoming.
