Remarks & Notes |
"The Deux-Montagnes Line Fleet"
The sun sets on cloudy day as two DM trains sit at Gare Deux-Montagnes ready to head south back to Gare Central. The line utilizes two types of trainsets; Bombardier MR-90 EMUs and Bombardier ALP45-DP locomotives which tow Bombardier Multilevel coaches. The MR-90s are the staple of this route while the push-pull sets are normally used on the Mascouche line but fill in for MR-90 sets that are in for maintenance. The Deux-Montagnes Line is currently being converted from heavy rail commuter to light rail meaning many distinctive traits of this line, including the one off Bombardier MR-90 rail cars, will be eliminated or changed forever. |
