Remarks & Notes |
Hope they got their money's worth! In Buffalo's Tifft Yard after being brought to the Buffalo & Southern Railroad (BSOR) for a movie shoot (a yet undisclosed production) former Metro-North/ConDot M2s 8738 and 8739 sit on flat cars with gaping holes in their sides awaiting their fate. After being built by the Budd Company (1973-1975), the cars served mainly in New Haven Line commuter service until the final rebuilt models of this class were retired in 2018. The landmark Buffalo Draw in the background is a reminder that these cars are far from their original home. |
