| M&E trains 421 and 428 meet at the west end of the Far Hills siding at Far Hills, NJ. The Arrow IIIs are living on borrowed time since they are nearly 40-years old and NJ Transit is seeking replacements. Of the original 230 cars delivered back in 1977, barely a fraction of them remain in passenger service, or better yet still even exist. It is only a matter of time before these pieces of equipment ride their way into history. |
