| ATSF 999399 brings up the rear of a westbound Santa Fe freight train as the train passes by Joliet Tower. The tower is across the tracks from Joliet Union Station which served Amtrak, Illinois Central Gulf and Rock Island at this time. The tower protected the Rock Island and joint ATSF/ICG mainlines crossing at grade. |
