| Cooler temperatures=more coal. As Winter approaches, coal fired power plants in Florida are working to increase their stockpile of black diamonds. Today's coal train originated on the Evansville Western Railway and is destined for the C.D. McIntosh plant located in Lakeland, Florida. These trains will only be around for another five years as the Lakeland city council agreed to retire the power plant in 2024. |
