| Six axles on the GC?? Georgia Central L783 "extra" rolls through Lanier on a less than stellar afternoon with the 2113 towing three former Buffalo & Pittsburgh SD40-2 variants. These units will be dropped off at the shop in Lyons and after getting prepped will be the first six axle power in service on the GC and the first time a six axle has turned a revenue wheel on the former SAL Montgomery to Savannah main in nearly 40 years. |
