Amador Central EMD SW-7 #12 and SW-1200 #11 lead their train down from the mill in Martel, CA to Ione, CA. With the recent Sierra Pacific Industries purchase of the mill and railroad from Georgie Pacific change has come in in the form of new motive power and track upgrades. Within a year however, the mill would be shut down and the railroad, a part of history.
