Bi-modal Hitachi built "AZUMA" (in Japanese = east) train 800 # 110 of the LNER (London North Eastern Railway) is leaving York station as train 1E14 from Edinburgh Waverley to London Kings Cross. The LNER gets 13 of this 9 car class 800/1 sets and 10 of the shorter 5 car 800/2 sets. The bodyshells of this trains are built in the Kasado works in Japan, being assembled at the Hitachi Newton Aycliffe facility in County Durham.
